The best example I can give you is: don't expect me to be able to tell you how rebuild a car engine if you cannot change the tire on the car. Be realistic in your expectations of what you can do with my advice.  Most repairs require some mechanical and electrical aptitude and some will require the use of a test instrument such as a multi-meter. Although many appliances are controlled by computer-type logic they are not computers and nothing is generally fixed by just pushing on some buttons. I will contact you via email to arrange a mutually agreeable time to talk.  I will also tell you what to take apart, etc. so the diagnosis can move swiftly. At the agreed time I will call you. You should be with the appliance at that time and ready to work. If I feel that I cannot get you an answer on your issue then there is no charge; your payment will be reversed immediately. Have readily available the make, model number and serial number of your product or I will not be able to assist you. Most issues can be resolved the same day and others may need some research on my part that can only be done during normal weekday business hours. The advice charge is for one problem per product only.
